First time I ever color yarn

I’ve wanted to try coloring my own yarn for a while so I bought white Einband and two packs of KoolAid, one light pink and one darker pink.

I took the yarn, made 6 groups of yarn linked together, put water into a pot with first the dark koolaid, put the yarn in and then let it come to the boil and boiled it for 2 minutes, I did the same thing with the light koolaid. (I just put every other group of yarn into each color so it would be dark-light-dark-light-dark-light). It came out really nice. 🙂
